On September 20th, the 2019 China Rare Earth Industry Prosperity Index was released at the Baotou Rare Earth Industry Forum in China. The index will help Baotou, the "capital of rare earths," become a hub for rare earth industry information, accelerate the informatization process of the rare earth industry, and enhance China's international influence on rare earths.

Recently, Meng Wei, spokesperson for the National Development and Reform Commission, stated at a press conference on macroeconomic operations that the country is urgently studying and introducing relevant policy measures to effectively leverage the special value of rare earths as strategic resources.
